Uninstalling MASS

To uninstall MASS goto the Control panel and find the Add/remove (or equivalent).

1. Click on Visual Dataflex ...This will remove the runtime.

2. Click on MASS Membership software. If this does not work then use Explorer to locate the folder MASS was installed. For example, c:\Programs files\MASS

Locate the Uninstall MASS folder and click on Unwise. This will uninstall MASS. You may then need to delete the individual folders from MASS.

If you intend to re-install, and have problems try doing this before the install. open up Regedit from the Start Menu. Be very careful to follow these instructions.

1. Locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Data Access Worldwide. Now delete this.

2. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Data Access Worldwide. Now delete this.

3. If using a 64bit PC: Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Data Access Worldwide. Now delete this.

Reinstalling MASS

Before reinstalling MASS please make sure MASS was uninstalled.
